About this role
You will spend most of your time in North Wales, just outside of Chester, on a 12 month contract with the potential for renewal.
You’ll ensure the safe and efficient operation of rotating machinery and mechanical equipment by identifying and planning equipment maintenance and reliability improvement activities.
Day to day, you will be responsible for making sure that production and maintenance systems are integrated and operated effectively, costs are controlled and equipment modifications/upgrades are implemented.
Projects this large are a team effort, and you won’t be alone.
You’ll be part of a team of discipline engineers who will work closely to supervise and manage contractors in order to ensure that the project goals are met on time and within budget.
You’ll have 5-10 years’ experience working on Mechanical & Rotating Equipment design and selection for an Oil and Gas operator or contractor.
Degree wise, there is an element of flexibility but you’ll likely hold a Bachelor’s or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
You should also hold HUET and BOSIET certifications, but if not, you will need to be available to obtain these.
